All in all, we’re a pretty diverse bunch here at Trojan.
We’re from around the globe, we’re fluent in many languages and we’ve got a daft amount of qualifications between us. We’ve got Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and Occupational Psychologists to name a few.
But above everything else, we’re made up of genuine people. And rather than wax lyrical about how great they are and how much they care about their jobs, we wanted you to see them as just that – People.
Beverly Nazmi – MD
With only 24 hours until the end of the world, Beverly claims she would learn to fly a plane, win the Monaco Grand Prix, learn to play the saxophone and have one huge, blow-out party. So basically she would try to fit as much into that day as she does all the rest.
Jim Kay – Director
Jim is strangely proud of a little known fact: you can't turn left or right on a bike without first turning the opposite way. He says the doubters are converted when they ride a bike with one hand – they push when they should be pulling. He’s offered £50 to anyone who can prove otherwise.
Karen Armstrong – Associate Director
Karen says her most embarrassing moment was the time she gate crashed a wedding party at a hotel, and, holding hands with the groom, broke into a chorus of "you'll never walk alone" while being filmed by the bride. We are unsure if the couple are still married.
Tim Allum – Associate Director
If Tim were a Superhero, he claims his catchphrase would be: "Are you ok?" This undoubtedly refers to his uncanny ability to arrive slightly after the critical moment.
Guillaume Noirtin – Consultant
With only 24 hours until the apocalypse, Guillaume was quite clear how he'd use the time. "I'll be on the first flight back to France so I can eat a decent meal before I die." We suspect he is commenting on English cuisine.
George Hourmouzios – Placement & Marketing Consultant
If George were a Superhero, he believes his Superpower would be to put a smile on everyone's face. His catchphrase would be: "laughter is the answer!" Funny, that's what we all did when we saw this response. Maybe he really is a Superhero.
Richard Dobbs – Placement & Marketing Consultant
As a Superhero, Richard reckons he'd be Doctor Who, believing time travel would give him 20/20 hindsight. If he's relying on this to 'think smart' then time isn't the only thing warped around here.
John Claeys – Manager – Finance, Administration & Technology
John's most embarrassing moment came on the day he bribed his way out of a Bolivian jail after he was "wrongly" arrested in a case of mistaken identity. He also listed the same incident as his finest achievement.
Hajni Domokos – Administration
One thing you'll get with Hajni is an honest answer. When asked if she could change one thing about her life what it would be, her startled reply was: "What? One thing?" We left it at that.
Heather Andrews - Principal Research Consultant/BD
Heather's proudest achievement was becoming the only person in the world to win three International Inspiration Awards in recognition of the eight books she has had published. If that's not inspiring I don't know what is.
Baljit Soorae – Research Consultant
Baljit claims her finest achievement was recording the highest mark in the world in one of her Business Law exams. However, the euphoria soon gave way to embarrassment as she had to pose in a nerdy fashion, for a nerdy publication, congratulating her very publicly for being, well, a nerd.
Ross Jones – Research Consultant
Of the many embarrassing incidents in Ross's life, his disastrous attempt at getting on a chairlift is surely top of the list. By the time it was stopped he was half way up the slope, dangling 10m above the snow by his feet. We guess his embarrassment was exceeded only by the roar of the crowd when, ego and all, he was gently let down.
Lee Anderson – Trainee Research Consultant
If indeed he is who he claims, Lee has to be a case of mistaken identity. How else can you achieve an 'A' in an 'A' level when you answered the wrong question?
David Kay – Marketing Czar
David's most embarrassing moment came during half-time of a very important football game. In front of a packed bar, he celebrated vigorously when an advert that he had been cast in came on the television, before remembering it was for an embarrassing condition and realising that the entire room was guffawing at this very public confession.
